140.20 - Mental Health Co-Responder Services for Pitkin Area Co-Response Teams

Pitkin County (hereinafter called the “County”) will accept proposals from interested parties to provide mental health staff members for the Pitkin Area Co-response Teams (PACT) Program.

The County will award a one-year (1) contract with one vendor, with the option for four (4) additional one-year extensions, that can provide the services described in this RFP. The County intends to award a single contract to the top-ranking proposer; this does not, however, limit the successful proposer’s ability to subcontract portions of the required services under the awarded Contract. If subcontractors will be utilized, proposers must provide business names, qualifications, approach, control measures, and references for any and all proposed subcontractors.

PACT is a law enforcement and mental health co-response program that aims to prevent unnecessary incarceration and hospitalization of individuals experiencing mental illness or substance abuse, and instead divert them to appropriate mental health services. PACT is funded by grants from the State of Colorado to Pitkin County Public Health, which provides management of and direction to the program.
