PAR-1280 WP1 - PAR 1280 – NUISANCE STRUVITE AND DEWATERABILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PACKAGE 1

The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (District) is soliciting “General Contractor Prequalification Applications” from General Contractors (referred to as General Contractors or Applicants) to construct Package 1 work as part of the District’s PAR 1280 – Nuisance Struvite and Dewaterability Improvements Project (Project) located at the District’s Robert W. Hite Treatment Facility in Denver, Colorado.
The purpose of this solicitation is to rank the qualifications of General Contractors and select the top ranked prequalified General Contractors to submit bids (at a later date) on the construction of the Project. Companies intending on serving as subcontractors or suppliers do not need to submit statements of qualifications at this time. This prequalification process is intended to prequalify General Contractors for this particular Project only.

BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The PAR 1280 – Nuisance Struvite and Dewaterability Improvements Project Work Package 1 will include, (1) utility relocations, (2) protection of existing utilities, (3) new utility corridor (North Gallery), and (4) structural foundations for the proposed Pre-Dewatering Phosphorus Recovery (PDPR) reactor.
All improvements are in active process areas and will require coordination of shutdowns with the District.
