The conference is mandatory. Vendors must RSVP via the BidNet Question and Answer function. RSVPs must be received via BidNet no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the event. No more than two (2) attendees per vendor. Attendees must provide the business name, name(s), and phone number(s) of their respective attendee(s), Any RSVPs that are received after the twenty-four (24) hour window or that are received outside of BidNet will not be granted access to the event, unless Metro determines that sufficient technical issues reasonably prevented a vendor from responding in the requested manner. Metro facilities are secure, and a government-issued photo ID is required to enter. Only attendees that have responded in the correct manner will be added to the visitor's lists for each site. Any changes to the attendees must be communicated prior to the event.
The format of the conference will be an overview of the RFP followed by site visits, ending with a period for questions and answers related to the requirements, RFP, and/or overall process. Metro Water Recovery will attempt to answer all questions at the conference; however, the conference is not a substitute for the written questions due in the Schedule of Events. Following the conference, Metro Water Recovery may post questions and answers on BidNet and/or make any necessary changes to the RFP via a formal addendum.
