Summary of Specifications:
The Oil and Gas Technical Advisor (Advisor) will provide services estimated not to exceed 200 hours in a full one year period. The initial coontract term will be approximate half a year and there fore half the hours. The advisor will advise the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and Natural Resource Team consisting of Natural Resource Planners, County Planning Engineer, County Manager, and County Attorney regarding public health, safety, and welfare; operational; and other technical issues related to oil gas industry practices, activities, and impacts in order to inform county policies and actions. The Advisor shall be knowledgeable in the following areas: a. Coal bed methane b. Oil shale, including gothic oil shale c. Drill spacing d. Geology and hydrogeology related to e. Oil and gas production f. Fruitland outcrop g. Seeps h. Reinjection wells i. Domestic water wells j. County and State oil and gas regulations
