26940 - Prime Grocery Vendor

Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Jefferson County School District R-1 and Littleton Public Schools (the Districts) are jointly issuing this Request for Proposal for a Prime Distributor to distribute groceries for the School Food Programs at the Districts. The District’s intend to enter into a contract with one food distributor to act as prime vendor and purchasing agent to bid, receive, stock, and deliver grocery purchases such as frozen food, fresh and frozen meats, fresh produce, snacks, dry goods, canned goods, beverages, and miscellaneous other supplies to the school meal programs, as well as the district’s catering operation. Approximately 70-80% of commercially purchased food service program requirements will be delivered through this agreement.
