RFP-21673 - Cabling Services

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from qualified contractors in order to establish a pre-approved contractor list. This list will consist of multiple qualified Contractors based on the award criteria of this RFP. Contractors on the pre-approved list, in a rotating manner, will be invited to submit price quotes on projects undertaken during the next 12 months. The work offered to contractors for non-bond projects will be offered on a time and materials basis or on a competitive quote basis depending on the scope of work to be completed. Contractors will be selected depending on the ability to get work done in the time frame expected by the District, along with cost and product availability. In addition, Contractors will be invited to provide bids for bond projects. For work that is bond funded, Contractors will be contacted by the associated general contractor or electrical contractor in charge of the bond project.
