ADVERTISEMENT / INVITATION TO BID
Grand County, Colorado, will be accepting sealed bids to award a contract for the following FHWA funded project: County Road 3 – Arch Pipe Construction, located on County Road 3 crossing the Williams Fork River in the Town of Parshall, Colorado. Complete Bid Documents, including all project requirements, maps and descriptions, will be available on or after August 9, 2018 and may be obtained from the following website: http: //co.grand.co.us/bids.aspx
All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents and are due on or before August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A pre-mandatory meeting will be held on August 23, 2018 at the project site at 11:00am. Only contractors whom attend the mandatory meeting will be eligible to submit a Bid.
No partial sets of Contract Documents will be issued. Complete sets of Contract Documents shall be used in preparing Bids.
All Bids shall be in SEALED ENVELOPES AND PLAINLY MARKED “Sealed Bid – Grand County – County Road 3 – Arch Pipe Construction.”
The County intends to award the Contract to a CDOT prequalified contractor.
The County will send plan addenda’s only to those plan holders who have obtained plans for this project from the County.
The County reserves the right to waive any irregularities in Bidding and to reject any or all Bids. All Bids will be evaluated and the award will be made within 60 days from the date that they are opened.
A Disadvantaged Business Goal (DBE) of zero (0%) percent will be required for this project.
The CDOT Form 347, Certification of EEO Compliance, is no longer required to be submitted in the bid package. This form certified that the contractor/proposed subcontractors were in compliance with the Joint Reporting Committee EEO-1 form requirements. The EEO-1 Report must still be submitted to the Joint Reporting Committee if the contractors and subcontractors meet the eligibility requirements (29CFR 1602.7); we will, however, no longer require certification.
