20019 - HS & PH Building

Overview:
Gilpin County, Colorado is requesting proposals from qualified General Contracting firms for renovation of an existing office building to meet the needs of our Human Services and Public Health departments. Building is located at 15193 Highway 119 in mid Gilpin County. It is a two-story conventional wood structure built in 2001 and is approximately 5,088 square feet.
 
Human Services staff is currently 16, and Public Health is 2 plus 4 employees of Jefferson County Center for Mental Health that work different schedules and normally are not there at the same time.
 
Initial considerations include:
 
First Floor considerations for Public Health:

• Counter in reception area.
• Consideration for three office spaces.
• A small laboratory area with counter and sink.

• Consideration for five office spaces.
• Consideration for eleven to thirteen cubicles.

• Four interview rooms.
• Conference room to accommodate approximately 25 people (convertible to two separate spaces, if possible).
• Breakroom (s).
