2-2025 - Porter Ranch Forestry Project

The Porter Ranch is a 150 acre forestry project off of Magnolia Road in southern Boulder county. The project consists of two types of management units: Individual Tree and Thin From Below. These management units are designated by their treatment objectives, forest type, and landowner goals. In the Individual Tree unit, trees that will be cut have been marked with blue paint. Thin From Below areas will have a species-specific DBH limit, described in more detail in the section below. The forest types range from Ponderosa Woodland to Mesic-Subalpine Fir.
