The Pinecliffe Forest Project is a 103 acre forestry project off of Coal Creek Canyon in southern Boulder county. The project consists of two main types of management units: Individual Tree and Thin From Below. These management units are designated by their treatment objectives, forest type, and landowner goals. In the Individual Tree unit, trees that will be cut have been marked with blue paint. Thin From Below areas will have a species-specific DBH limit, described in more detail in the section below.

We will be meeting at the main parking lot in the center of the Pinecliffe Association community. Please carpool to minimize vehicles. We will have the gate open until the show-me tour starts. Please park at the parking lot, where we will then move to the unit for a drive/walk around to see the main characteristics. Please note the road access on the way in to be sure your equipment is able to access the unit.
