COOPERATIVE BID BAKERY PRODUCTS
July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018

A nutritional analysis of every product bid must be furnished to each district upon request.

All school districts reserve the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof; whatever items are awarded on this bid will be awarded all or none.

Each district may ask for samples of any all products bid.

Deliveries must be made to kitchen area. Kitchen manager(s) or their designee must sign delivery tickets.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:

MANITOU SPRINGS DISTRICT 14:

Once a week to one (1) site.
No deliveries before 6:30 A.M. or later than 2:00 P.M.

LEWIS PALMER DISTRICT 38:

Twice a week to three (3) sites.

HANOVER:

Once a week delivery
No deliveries will be accepted before 7:00 A.M. or later than 2:00 P.M.

DISTRICT 49:

Twice a week to fourteen (21) sites.

ELLICOTT:

Once a week two (2) sites.
No deliveries before 6:30 AM or later that 1:30 PM

ELBERT C-1 (ELIZABETH):

Twice a week to one site.

CALHAN:

Once a week to one (1) site

HACCP/Food Safety Requirements

Dear Valued Vendor,

As you know food safety is the most important issue facing our food service operations today. All members of our Southern Colorado Co-op have implemented the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Plan) program in each of our food service operations.

We would very much appreciate your sending us a letter with your bid proposals indicating what HACCP or good manufacturing practices in which your company participates.

Some of the important HACCP program areas that we are interested in as far your company practices are the following:

Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Points established and limits set
Planned procedures in place to correct processes when deviation may occur
Detailed and accurate record keeping
Master cleaning and sanitation schedule
Ongoing training on food safety and HACCP procedures
Separation of food and chemical products
Refrigerated dock receiving and loading
Pest control program

Bids must be returned on original bid form. Only electronic bids will be accepted. All bids and required paperwork (see Attached “Procurement Documents”) must be signed

Delivery of bid is the responsibility of the bidder. Bid must be delivered to Monica Deines-Henderson at md-h@d49.org by 11:00 A.M., June 7, 2017. Telephone bids will not be accepted. Bakery Bid must be written in the subject line. If agreeable to all parties, bid may be extended for future school year/years up to 4 rollover years.
