Summary of Specifications:
The Purchasing Division of Douglas County Government, in conjunction with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests proposals from responsible, qualified firms for the provision of a hosted 9-1-1 telephone network solution.
The initial agreement, issued as a result of this RFP, will be for a period of twelve (12) months, beginning approximately April 1, 2012 to and including March 31, 2013. All proposed fees shall be firm and fixed for the initial contract period. The County shall have an option to renew this agreement for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each, with the same terms and conditions. The renewal option is to be exercised no later than thirty (30) days prior to March 31, 2013. This agreement and/or extension to the original period of a subject agreement shall be contingent upon annual funding being appropriated, budgeted and otherwise made available for such purposes and subject to the County’s unanimous satisfaction with the services received during the preceding agreement period.
