Summary of Specifications:
The Department of Community Development, in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, the Office of the County Administrator and Board of County Commissioners of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests proposals from responsible and qualified engineering or other qualified firms to perform a water audit/water use analyses to include, but not be limited to, a technical and financial analysis of methods and procedures to reduce water use through the installation of water conservation style devices and/or management alterations for (16) indoor facilities and seven (7) outdoor irrigated parks, currently owned and operated by Douglas County Government. A cost/benefit analysis shall also be prepared to demonstrate the financial savings to the County, and the time for payback based on the possible suggested alteration.
The County encourages all respondents to apply for any piece of, or in its entirety, the indoor and outdoor water audit portions, and the cost/benefit analysis of any suggested device retrofit and/or management alteration.
