Summary of Specifications:
The County has an employee base of approximately 1100 full-time, “regular” positions and has an additional 80 part-time and seasonal staff. The majority of benefit offerings for the County are only for full-time and part-time regular employees and medical insurance is offered to non-seasonal temporary employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a regular basis. The County has self-funded medical plans, self-funded dental plans, a self-funded vision plan, a Flexible Spending Plan with options that include Health, Dependent Care and Adoption Assistance, Life and AD&D insurance, Long Term and Short Term Disability insurance, Employee Assistance Program and a 401(a) retirement plan with an optional 457 plan. Additionally, the County offers ancillary benefits to include Critical Illness and Accident coverage.
