KCAA 2025000105 - Claim Funds-Third Party Administrator

The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DOWC) manages multiple funds for the payment of benefits to injured workers. Each fund is governed by its own set of statutes and rules which requires slightly different claims handling, but all claims remain subject to the requirements of the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act.  DOWC is seeking a third party provider of services.
The responder must be able to provide staff with the necessary education, experience and training to fulfill the role as sole third-party administrator.  The responder must be able to create and maintain separate bank accounts for each fund and provide detailed transaction reports for benefits paid from each account.
The successful vendor will be able to provide a dedicated adjuster for each fund and appropriate back-up staffing out of an office in the Denver Metro Area.
