Scope of Services
The State of Colorado, Institution of Colorado State University, is soliciting the submittal of qualifications and proposals from qualified Design Build Firms to develop a 900 ± space parking lot at 2400 Research Blvd, Center Avenue, including a box culvert bridge from Gillette Drive at Larimer #2 Ditch, as well as detention basins, site grading, drainage control, parking lot layout, paving, landscaping and lot lighting.
The procurement process will be two parts. The initial submittals will be evaluated on the basis of qualifications only. While these submittals are being prepared by the interested parties, the University will develop a full RFP including geotechnical reports, a site survey, conceptual plans and character studies, as well as performance specifications to inform the lump sum cost proposals. The full RFP will be delivered to those firms shortlisted for interview only and the remaining schedule for completion of the procurement process revealed at that time.
The total Design Build Budget is between $4M and $4.5M and includes design and construction of the parking lot and bridge as well as any and all associated work.
Schedule: It is anticipated the remaining design work will be completely immediately after award and contract in April 2015 with substantial completion by August 15, 2015 for the parking lot and the bridge by November 1, 2015.
