Summary of Specifications:
This RFP provides prospective firms with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for a contract(s) to provide Employee and Office Furniture Moves and Installation Colorado Springs Utilities (UTILITIES) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide employee moves, furniture moves, installation, assembly, wire management, tear down/disassembly and reconfiguration services for systems furniture, various panel systems and electric adjustable workstation bases. Services may include in-home setups and configuration for teleworkers. In addition, vendor may warehouse UTILITIES’ owned furniture and accessories and provide periodic updates on maintained inventory. Acquisition of furniture is not part of this contract. Wire management includes disconnection and reconnection of existing computers and phones, and assembly of electrical adjustable workstation systems and accompanying components (adjustable monitor arm & flat panel monitor), per UTILITIES design layouts. In addition wire management includes using Velcro to neatly store wires under Electric adjustable desk per UTILITIES Specifications. Employee moves will include, but not limited to, the employee’s ergonomic task chair, CPU, keyboard, mouse, LCD flat panel monitor, dual monitor arm assembly when present, IP phone and 5-6 boxes.
