Mines is intending to purchase the Pharos-UP-1mJ-20W-200kHz DPSS femtosecond laser.
Mines believes that Light Conversion USA is the sole vendor to provide a femtosecond laser that 
provides all the specifications critical to Mines research in one unit, namely: high power (20 W) and 
high energy (1 mJ) pulses with sub 100 fs temporal widths, near-IR emission (λo = 1030 nm), variable 
repetition rates in the range of 1 – 200 kHz, and high stability in power (<0.5% both long term and 
shot-to-shot) and in beam pointing (< 20 μrad/°C) at a wide range of operating temperatures (59° - 86° 
F) and relative humidities (<80%).
The projected cost for this unit is $224,520.00
