This Request for Information (“RFI”) is intended to obtain information regarding available digital repository systems (“System”) for our library. While Mines is interested in gathering as much information as possible in order to determine if changing systems would be beneficial, our main focus items are as follows:

What systems are available (specifically cloud-based systems)?
What features are available that would be beneficial to the library and the users of the System?
What does implementation and migration look like?
What is the cost for implementation, migration, and ongoing service?

Mines project goal is to reduce current costs and increase System functionality.

This is NOT a Request for Proposals (“RFP”). No award will be issued in response to this RFI.

This RFI does NOT guarantee nor obligate Mines to publish a solicitation.

It is Mines objective to pursue an RFP in the spring of 2026, however, whether Mines proceeds with an RFP will be determined by the information gathered during this RFI process.
