Colorado Mountain College’s located at Steamboat Campus, 1330 Bob Adams Dr., Steamboat Springs, CO, Leadville Campus at 901 South Hwy. 24, Leadville, CO and Spring Valley Campus located at 3000 County Rd., Glenwood Springs, CO are requesting quotes from qualified firms for WiQ.
Scope of Project: • Remove existing hardware/components and install new wireless access control at the Leadville and Steamboat Springs Residence Halls • Upgrade the Steamboat Springs Residence Hall system as necessary to ensure all 3 residence halls have the same functionality, hardware and software. • If we change software and hardware in the Residence Halls, we need to have a clear maintenance plan to either operate 2 systems across the college, or convert the overall college to the new system. • Give bid alternates for o Proximity cards (vs mag stripe) o Other new technology vendor would recommend
Objective: • Steamboat Residence Hall has installed wireless access control for all doors. Spring Valley and Leadville Residence Halls need to have a similar system installed • All three campuses must have the same system. If we change to different hardware and/or software at Spring Valley and Leadville, we must also change Steamboat. • If we change software and hardware in the Residence Halls, we need to have a clear maintenance plan to either operate 2 systems across the college, or convert the overall college to the new system. • Installed product life is at least 10 years.
