Colorado Mountain College’s Spring Valley Campus located at 3000 County Road 114, Glenwood Springs, CO is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals to provide all labor and materials as required to perform the HVAC work of the Maker’s Space Remodel.
As described in CMC Maker’s Space plans dated May 25, 2018 by Big Horn Engineering via Jeff Johnson Architectural, Sheets M1-1 and M1-2 (pages 4-5) and Spring Valley Makerspace Project Specifications prepared by Jeff Johnson Architectural and dated May 23, 2018.
Provide all labor and materials as required to demolish, remove and dispose of all existing HVAC equipment and accessories currently in the building that are not intended for re-use based on the attached plans. This includes but is not limited to the two existing ceiling mounted furnace units and any other decommissioned equipment. Existing roof penetrations should be capped and sealed to prevent water intrusion.
Notes:
• The existing mini split system is to be uninstalled and protected for potential reuse at a separate location. Future work respective to the mini split system is not part of this RFP request.
• The dust collection system is currently installed in a separate building and should not be included in this proposal. We may request a T & M proposal for the removal and reinstallation of the system under a separate scope of work.
• The plumbing work, including gas line installation to be procured separately
• All required electrical services / connections to be provided by Owner’s sub-contractor.
• RTU Concrete pads to be included in the scope of work.
Provide all labor and materials as required to perform the work described in the attached plans as reflected on Sheets M1-1, M1-2 (pages 4-5).
A mandatory walkthrough is scheduled to examine existing building conditions.
Contractor must be licensed and insured in the State of Colorado to perform the work described herein.
