Description

The Colorado Department of Transportation is requesting proposals to assist with the creation of the Statewide Safety Camera Program that conforms with the Automated Vehicle Identification System (Speed Safety Camera) Colorado Revised Stature 42-4-110.5.
The intent of the RFP is to contract with a Contractor to provide Speed Safety Camera equipment, data collection services, and violation and appeals processing for consistent, predictable, and transparent automated speed enforcement along highway facilities under the jurisdiction of the Department. As part of this project, the Department will focus on Speed Safety Cameras for automated enforcement in work zones, school zones, identified high injury networks (HIN’s), and strategic highway segments.
The Department is soliciting written proposals for a full-service speed enforcement program, Administrator and associated services. This RFP seeks speed capture camera systems and the full range of associated oversight and support services.
