It is the intent of this specification to describe the quality of an 10,000 gallon UL 2085 above ground bulk storage tank to be delivered to and unloaded at the CDOT facility in Ridgeway, CO. ( aka Ridgeway). Materials used shall be at least at minimum standard as specified and of a quality used for commercial bulk fuel storage, conforming to current engineering and manufacturing practices, and in compliance with NFPA, and the Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety regulations. All components of the above ground storage tank shall be of proper design to safely withstand maximum stresses imposed under normal CDOT use. Any attachments, accessories, tools, or other components normally furnished as standard equipment and, or necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the storage and dispensing of fuel shall be furnished. The proposal will include the cost to deliver, unload, and place the storage tank in a specific location determined by CDOT. Due to possible winter conditions in Ridgeway, CDOT shall be given a minimum of two week’s prior notice before delivery of the storage tank to prepare area for safe delivery, unloading and installation. It is our intent for the Fuel Master and the Veeder Root to communicate via wireless transmission.
