The Birch Park Project involves transforming a vacant, city-owned 5.5-acre site known as the Hay Pasture on Birch Avenue in Rifle, Colorado, into a fully developed public park. The project includes earthwork, civil construction, site drainage, utilities, electrical systems, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, curb walls, inclusive playgrounds with pour-in-place safety surfacing, post-tensioned pickleball courts, a futsal court, shade shelters, fencing, signage, gateway elements, metal railings, sandblasting, pollinator gardens, site boulders, landscaping, a pump house, and irrigation systems.
The Contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, machinery, materials, supplies, superintendence, insurance, transportation, and other construction accessories, services, and facilities required or specified to complete and permanently incorporate all elements of the work. In addition, the Contractor shall provide and perform all necessary labor in a first-class and workmanlike manner, in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Bid Schedule, and in compliance with all requirements, stipulations, provisions, and conditions of the Contract Documents. This project is grant funded and Build America, Buy America ( BABA) must be followed
