18-019 - Tree Grinding

The City of Gunnison is soliciting proposals for tree and limb grinding at the city tree dump.  Bidders must furnish their own equipment and an experienced operator. Equipment must be a tub grinder in good working order and capable of processing large tree trunks and limbs.  Materials to grind are stockpiled and predominantly organic wood materials with traces of non-organic particles such as nails and screws and small rocks. Operators are responsible to monitor material input during grinding operations, and accepts responsibility for any damages incurred. The project will consist of approximately 40 hours of onsite grinding.
