Sources Sought for the City of Fountain, IGSA INDUSTRY DAY
The City of Fountain in Fountain, CO is issuing this Sources Sought Notice through this RFI. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from qualified businesses and conduct market research and interest in an opportunity with the City of Fountain. This is not a request for proposal (RFP), and no solicitation is being issued at this time. The City of Fountain seeks potential sources to perform and complete a variety of specialized construction projects with the following disciplines: Small Construction, Painting Services, Electrical Services, Heating and Air Conditioning HVAC Services, Flooring and Carpeting Services, Fencing and Masonry Services, Locksmith Services, and Plumbing services, to support an anticipated Intergovernmental partnership between the City of Fountain and Fort Carson Army Post. Firms must be capable of managing several small projects concurrently. The following firms shall be involved in services for a broad range of building and civil works repair, maintenance, renovation projects, in support of the Fort Carson Army Garrison and the City of Fountain. Projects are anticipated to be issued through a task order type submission to the City of Fountain, to perform the related service on Fort Carson or the City of Fountain. Task orders may vary in size from $1,000 to $100,000 (in limited cases order may exceed $100,000) and will be awarded by the City of Fountain Intergovernmental Support Agreements (IGSA) Manager and administered by the Strategic Partnerships Department. Work performed under this anticipated contract may include but not be limited to, the following general project categories: construction, repair and alteration of various buildings, structures and facilities; electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; earthwork; concrete; deconstruction/demolition, water control and pump stations, boardwalks, sign installation, HVAC, flooring, gazebos, painting, locksmith services, fencing, masonry works and other work items as required by specialty trades. The City of Fountain anticipates issuing task orders for these services on Fort Carson and the City. It is anticipated the contract relationship with the City of Fountain may span 10 years, or longer, in support of the existing IGSA between the City of Fountain and Fort Carson. Wherein the prime contractor must perform at least 50 percent services, excluding the cost of materials, with its own employees and employees of a similarly situated subcontractor.
