Description

The City and County of Denver (City) is seeking proposals from qualified agencies and organizations to provide services through the Denver Asylum Seeker Program (DASP). Proposals shall address services to assist new immigrants in Denver who plan to seek asylum in the United States (i.e., newcomers) with securing enrollment in the DASP, housing navigation and rental assistance, and food and personal item assistance to create a foundation for safety, independence, and long-term stability for themselves and their families. The resulting program or programs will provide intentional, consistent support to newcomers as they strive to create healthy homes and prosperous futures as prospective long-term residents in Denver.

The total funding available for award through this Request for Proposals (RFP) is approximately $15,000,000. The City intends to execute contracts with one or more organizations and reserves the right to negotiate all final contract amounts. The anticipated initial contract term is August 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025, with the possibility of subsequent extensions that will be contingent on need, performance, and availability of funds.
