Summary of Specifications:
The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking qualified proposals to provide various custodial services to eight (8) public buildings in the City of Wheat Ridge. Most locations are year round and a few are seasonal. Some locations are seven (7) days a week and other locations require a five (5) days a week schedule. Intent is to award the contract to one firm. This is a performance-based contract specifying intended outcomes with little need for city staff to exert much oversight. Work shall be performed by firm employees and not independent or sub-contracted workers. The term is for one year with up to four (4) one-year renewal options. The estimated 2009 budget is $46,000. Anticipated start date is July 2009.
