Summary of Specifications:
Thornton is seeking Proposals from Contractors to provide Street Crack Sealing Services on an as-needed basis under an open ended General Service Agreement. Nothing herein guarantees any minimum amount of work to any Contractor. The Work may entail crack sealing major arterial, minor arterial, secondary streets, and parking lots and city facilities within Thornton’s city limits. Compensation will be computed using the unit cost for crack sealing, along with the unit pricing for traffic control and mobilization. The unit cost will include subcontract costs, direct billable labor, materials, and equipment costs (both owned and rental), and any reimbursable expenses. The unit cost should also include the markups to cover costs for insurance, bonds, overhead and profit. The Agreement shall terminate on December 31, 2021 unless sooner terminated by Thornton’s issuance of a Termination Notice. Rate adjustments may be re-negotiated on an annual basis if requested. All changes shall be incorporated into the Agreement by written Amendment.
