Description

The scope of this Professional Service Agreement includes the installation and design of access points along Thornton’s 36-inch diameter Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) (Project). This portion of raw water pipeline begins at the intersection of West 112th Street and Alcott Street and terminates at the Thornton Water Treatment plant, located at 9540 Ellen Court. It is anticipated that approximately twelve (12), 24-inch diameter access points will be installed along the 4.1 mile stretch of raw water pipeline. Access points will be used to perform an electromagnetic inspection, a SmartBall leak detection inspection, and allow for access into the pipeline in the event that an internal inspection or repair is needed.
