Summary of Specifications:
The Agreement is for on-call services on an as-needed basis. Thornton’s intent is to engage multiple firms under this solicitation. Thornton does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or compensation to the firms receiving award. The Agreement shall be multi-term, and shall terminate on December 31, 2020, unless sooner terminated by Thornton’s issuance of a Termination Notice. Rates shall be held firm for the initial term which concludes on December 31, 2013. Upon request, rates and charges may be adjusted annually for subsequent one (1) year terms on the anniversary date of the Agreement provided, however, that increases in rates and charges may not exceed the inflation rate defined by the current Denver Boulder Greeley CPI as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. To be minimally qualified for consideration for award, proposing firms must have successfully completed landscape architecture projects in the Colorado front range corridor within the past five (5) year period that have a similar degree of complexity and cost to Thornton’s anticipated projects. Firms must have at minimum one (1) staff member who is licensed as a landscape architect that is available for assignment to Thornton’s Project. Thornton utilizes the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing Sys
