Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pueblo, hereafter referred to as “City”, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00:00 AM (MT) on November 20, 2013, at the City’s Purchasing Office, 230 S. Mechanic Street, Pueblo, Colorado 81003, for the following: Project No.: 13-070 Project Name: Trash Removal and Recycling Services for Multiple City Locations In general, the successful bidder will provide trash removal and recycling services at various locations throughout the City of Pueblo. Submitted prices are to include all charges for labor, materials, supplies, fuel, insurance, delivery, tools, equipment, and landfill fees necessary to provide the service as indicated in the Scope of Services. No faxed or electronically delivered bids will be accepted. Bids received after the time and date listed above will be rejected and returned. Prospective bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the various locations and the proposed minimum specifications and scope of services as to the correctness of any service requested in the bid. Bidder shall not, after submission of proposal, dispute or complain of such cost estimate, nor assert that there was any misunderstanding in regard to the nature or amount of work to be done. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any or all items covered in the Invitation to Bid, to waive informalities or defects in bids or to accept any bid as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. All services shall be contingent upon appropriation of the necessary funds and only after the receipt of a Purchase Order. All bids are subject to the conditions shown herein and must be enclosed in an envelope clearly marked with the project number and name. All questions must be presented no later than three (3) business days prior to submittal deadline.
