1.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A.The City of Loveland controls the distribution of water from their Water Treatment facility to users through the “Modulating Valve Vault”. This vault has been expanded and has undergone numerous improvements over the years. The improvements proposed herein consist of upgrading portions of exiting piping, valves, electrical conduit, wiring, light switches, receptacles, LP control panel within five existing interconnected below grade concrete vaults.
In addition, work will include replacement of a heater, dehumidifiers, replacement of all control cable and conduit, and concrete modifications to the existing roof structure. The proposed improvements have been planned in two phases to allow for uninterrupted service during peak period water demands.
Work of the project will occur over a duration from February 2019 through April 30, 2019, and then resume in October 1, 2019 and be substantially completed by December 31, 2019.
