Project Background and Purpose:
The City recently acquired the parking lot located at the southwest corner of Fifth Street and Cleveland Avenue and it is the desire of the City to make parking spaces available for rent Monday- Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on non-City holidays. All other times the parking spaces would be open to the public.
Project Scope Components:
The City, through this RFP, desires to select a firm to advertise to interested parties that the spaces are available for daily rent, collect monthly fees, maintain all records of spaces rented (including name, address, phone, and email of persons renting spaces), maintain trash receptacles in at least two areas of the parking lot with trash removal at least once per day, and pick up garbage and other waste on parking lot surface at least daily. The Proposer should include plans for regulating access to the Parking Lot, including, for example, installing and maintaining a Parking Gate Arm, hiring staff, etc.
