The City of Longmont will require a structural assessment of concrete PT podium slabs, beams, columns, walls and substructures to understand the current condition and determine what repairs and/or maintenance will be necessary to extend the life of the structural elements for existing use and possible expansion of the building(s). The scope of this Sole Source is comprised of the design of the repair, removal and design of the structural elements including but not limited to the post-tensioned slab, beams, columns, walls and substructures as well as future monitoring. The firm will also be required to provide the selected contractor continual support and construction implementation oversight of the repairs throughout the project as well as monitoring the work at regular intervals over the next 15 years. The City intends to award a contract for the Structural Investigation and Analysis of Post-Tensioned (PT) Podium Slab and Related Structural Elements to J.R. Harris & Company.
