RFQ-TK-17072 - Special Counsel for Review of Construction Conttract and General Conditions

The City has a need for vertical, horizontal and design-build Construction General Conditions that are based on current Colorado Revised Statutes, AIA standards, EPA standards, CDPHE standards, ADA requirements, industry standards, considering best practices for home rule municipal construction contracting under Colorado law. As part of the update, all wrap-around components of the contract should be reviewed and revised as necessary. Such components include change orders, static parts of special conditions, FEMA addenda, bond forms, and CDBG addenda. Updates will be focus on a variety of areas, including, but not limited to, statutory requirements, provisions to protect the City from liability and delay, City processes, and consistency and integration among components.
