RFP-DW-12029 - Security Guard for Municipal Court

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Longmont is seeking proposals from security firms to provide one (1), armed security officer at the Municipal Court located in the Public Safety Building at 225 Kimbark Street in Longmont. Other security services may be required by the City from time to time and include, but are not limited to prisoner security/patient watch. These additional services will be solicited from the awarded contractor as needed and are not included in the contract for the security officer. 

The primary responsibility of the security firm will be the screening of all persons entering the Municipal Court Building through the use of a walk through metal detector as well as a hand-held device. The security firm will also be responsible for search of any bags, backpacks, briefcases or purses being brought into the area.
