Description

City staff is interested in partnering with a consulting firm with proven roots in advancing alternate and active modes of transportation and a willingness to incorporate new and innovative approaches to planning and implementation of projects—specifically to help “rebalance” travel modes to give each an equal sense of being safe, comfortable, reliable and efficient. This rebalancing of modes can certainly include new ways of traveling not currently available in the City of Longmont.

The selected consultant team will be responsible for overall project management, robust public involvement, professional facilitation, clear graphic presentation of information and introducing innovative concepts to be considered for the update. City staff will be responsible for providing internal project management, historic data and organizational help with public outreach.
