PURPOSE
The Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (GURA), a Division of the City of Greeley’s Economic Health & Housing Department (EHH) is seeking proposals for the development of an infill lot, as described below.
URBAN RENEWAL REDEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES

Support the continued viability of the neighborhood through development and redevelopment of vacant and abandoned properties.
Encourage appropriate density in redevelopment areas that will result in a more compact community, reduce the amount of land needed for new development, and provide a base population mass that will in turn promote complementary infill.
Promote new development that enhances the neighborhood and area.
Improve and stabilize the condition of neighborhood housing through acquisition and removal of blighting influences where feasible.
Encourage new construction, which conforms to or improves the neighborhood’s character in scale, design and open space.
