RFP-2473-07-SDH - Hot Tub Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Grand Junction is requesting the installation of a new commercial hot tub at Orchard Mesa Community Center Pool. The hot tub is intended for public use and should comfortably seat at least 14 (fourteen) people. The previous tub was approximately 8’ x 14’ and about 4’ deep, its capacity was approximately 1700 gallons. The new hot tub should be comparable in size and capacity as the previous facility. The previous tub is being removed to allow for the installation of the indoor water slide at the facility. The new tub installation will be across the building from the previous tub and will require all new equipment and appurtenances. The Orchard Mesa Community Center Pool is a joint use facility shared by the School District, Mesa County and the City of Grand Junction. It is the largest indoor aquatic facility in Mesa County and offers aquatic recreation 12 months per year. The Z shaped pool is approximately 250,000 gallons with a diving well and lap lanes in two directions. Prior to the installation of this hot tub there will also be a new indoor water slide installed with the facility.
