Summary of Specifications:
The Project generally consists of 63,000 square yards of asphalt milling and a new 2” overlay of hot mix asphalt, approximately 2,800 tons of grading SX (PG 76-28), 8,700 tons of grading SX (PG 64-22) and approximately 48,000 SY of reinforced paving fabric ( Petromat), on existing streets within the City of Grand Junction. Contractors submitting bids over $50,000 must be prequalified in accordance with the City's "Rules and Procedures for Prequalification of Contractors." Bids received from nonprequalified contractors will not be opened. Application forms for prequalification are available at the Administration Office of the Department of Public Works and Planning.
