RFP-MultiModalMasterPlan11 - Multi Modal Master Plan

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Durango invites all interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required services, to submit proposals for development of a Multi Modal Master Plan (“Plan”). 



Durango Transit intends to conduct a planning effort to develop a Multi Modal Master Plan using Section 5304 funding via the Colorado Department of Transportation, with local match funding from the City of Durango. This Plan will be an implementation-focused transportation plan targeting increased intermodal connectivity. It will examine the existing conditions of the transit, bicycle, and pedestrian systems, will recommend improvements to those networks, establish connectivity between them, and look at the potential changes to each system to increase safety and efficiency. Finally, the Plan will establish goals and objectives for the enhancement of each mode of transportation. The Plan boundary matches that of the City of Durango Comprehensive Planning Area, which will eventually become Durango Transit’s service area.
