Summary of Specifications:
The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the required products, to submit bids for 60 Personal Computers (Dell OptiPlex 330 Energy Smart Minitower only), 6 Laptop Computers (Dell Latitude D830 only), and 8 Workstation Computers (Dell Precision Workstation T5400, 32 bit only), for the City of Durango. Note that quantities are estimates only.
NOTE: The City accepts bids from all Tier 1 manufacturers and their authorized resellers every three years. Year 1 of this process was 2007. During years 2 and 3, the City will standardize its purchasing by requesting bids from manufacturers and resellers that can provide pricing from the Tier 1 manufacturer selected in Year 1.
Only quotes for Personal Computers (PCs), Workstations, and Laptops manufactured by Dell will be accepted during this (Year 2) of the City’s bid process.
The City intends to compare all bids received to the State of Colorado Awards.
The City reserves the right to divide the award between computer category. In other words, it is possible for one vendor to receive the PC award, while another vendor receives the Laptop and Workstation awards. Awards shall not be divided within computer categories. The vendor who receives the PC bid will be required to supply all of the units in that category.
