The City of Colorado Springs is soliciting for the purpose of operating racquet sports programs for children and adults under the direction of the City's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. The City is requesting letters of interest for an offeror to operate, manage and maintain the City’s Memorial Park Tennis and Handball Complex located at 1315 East Pikes Peak Avenue as well as oversee use of tennis courts located at additional sites listed below. Offeror shall provide racquet sport (tennis, pickle ball and handball) facility services, including scheduling and management of the pro shop located in Memorial Park as well as the provision for instruction, public play, tournament play, marketing of such services, and providing a combination of private and public uses subject to the approval of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Director. Any programs proposed to the City shall incorporate public and resident use of tennis, pickle ball and handball courts, and other pertinent services.
Responses should be prepared simply and economically while still providing pertinent details of the vendor’s ability to meet the requirements specified in this document (or portions thereof) and as stated below. At a minimum they should include the following information:
- Company name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the contact person.
- Short biography of company.
- Technical understanding of the scope of work, approach and innovativeness in providing services.
- Methodology for proposing rate structures.
- Indicate the estimated number of staff and proposed qualifications of personnel your company believes would be required to provide the services described.
- Estimated financial benefit to the City.
- Provide the names and locations of at least three (3) locations at which your company has conducted similar services and requirements. Indicate if your company has been awarded other contracts from a federal, state or local government entity.
- Description of any applicable certifications, permits, licenses, etc. and estimated time to obtain
- Ability to comply with minimum and desired qualifications listed in Exhibit A.
