The purpose of this contract is to establish On-Call Pre-Award, In-Plant Inspections and Post-Deliver Buy America Audits for future procurements of Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) rolling stock used in revenue service, to include new buses, cutaways, vans and cars. These services are intended to ensure each vehicle produced is manufactured in compliance with 49 CFR Part 661, “Buy America Requirements” and 49 CFR Part 663, “Pre-Award and Post-Delivery Audits of Rolling Stock Purchases”, and that vehicles are manufactured in accordance with the task order specifications.
This contract will be awarded on a base year with 4 possible option years. Option year pricing shall increase no more than the Denver/Boulder Consumer Price Index at the time the purchase order is generated, or 3%, whichever is less.
MMT vehicle purchases are based on available funding; therefore, MMT cannot guarantee the number of future inspections and audits. Contractors should take into consideration that MMT may award vehicle purchase contracts to any vehicle manufacturer in the Continental United States when submitting pricing.
