Mountain Metro Transit (MMT) would like to receive bids from general contractors, restoration contractors, or any other qualified companies for building structural repair work and restoration. The eastern third of the first floor of the building at 1161 Transit Drive has settled and needs to be raised and leveled. The floor has dropped anywhere from ¼” to almost 1.5” from the existing office walls which are now floating. Office doors have dropped to the new floor level causing some of them to rack. This work request includes removing furniture from affected offices and storing on-site, removing the carpeting, completing the building structural floor leveling, reinstalling new carpeting (please provide a carpet tile and a rolled carpet option), and replacing the furniture. Cosmetic repairs will need to be completed to the doors affected, the cracked walls, the floor strips along the walls, and the window frames/sills.
