Project Description: The Lone Tree Creek Trail, a regional trail, allows pedestrians, cyclists and other trail users to travel from Cherry Creek State Park to the Dove Valley Metropolitan District and many points in between. The trail currently forces users to leave the safety of the trail and cross busy, 8-lane Arapahoe Road at grade at the South Revere Parkway traffic signal. Aspects of this project include a new precast box culvert, extending the existing box culvert within Lone Tree Creek, realigning the trail segments to accommodate the new pedestrian/bicycle underpass and extending existing storm sewer pipe.
