Description

The primary goal of the snow removal program is to maintain clear, safe, and passable drive lanes during and after storm events. The program also supports safe and orderly traffic movement and effective emergency response. Completion of snow removal for any storm event is defined as the point when all City streets are safe and passable. Snow removal operations shall begin with Priority 1 streets, followed by Priority 2, and then Priority 3 streets. Activities may include, but are not limited to, de-icing, pre-treatment, ice cutting, snow plowing, and other winter maintenance or clean-up tasks.
