The City of Boulder is requesting submittals from qualified vendors to develop and launch a third-party reusable takeout container program. The city is interested in partnering with one vendor who can pilot a food or drink-related reusable takeout container program in 2021 within the city at an appropriate number of restaurants and/or cafes based on available funding. The scale of the pilot program is flexible and will depend on the type of vendor selected and system to be implemented. The timeline of a pilot program must be in the year 2021 due to grant funds making the program possible, however continuation of the program is possible if justified and successful.
