RFB-33-2013 - Junction Place Bridge at Goose Greek

Summary of Specifications:
Construction of an approximately 80 ft long by 55 ft wide single span, horizontally curved, cast-in-place concrete bridge with variable depth box girders, crossing Goose Creek at the south end of 33rd Street. Also included is the construction of approximately 1,200 LF of reinforced concrete and stone retaining walls. There will be 300 LF of roadway construction and reconstruction on the north approach to the bridge tying into 33rd Street and minor approach slab on the south side of the new bridge tying into the proposed street Junction Place which will be completed by others. The project includes hot mix asphalt mill, overlay, and patching, portland cement concrete paving, placement of porous clay pavers, landscaping, and reconstruction of the multi-use path and sidewalk. Significant utility work includes construction of a water line under Goose Creek, new storm sewer system, and installation of corridor street and pedestrian lighting.
